Single origin · Roasted to order

Coffee that tastes like somewhere.

We buy small lots directly from growers, roast them in 12 kg batches, and ship within 48 hours of the roast date. Every bag tells you the farm, the altitude, and the day it was roasted.

Kestrel ETHIOPIA Guji · 2,050 m ROASTED 12 MAR

Three things we will not compromise on.

Most coffee changes hands four or five times before it reaches a roaster. We keep it to one.

Bought at the farm

We visit every farm we buy from and agree the price with the grower directly. No broker, no anonymous lot numbers.

Roasted in small batches

Twelve kilograms at a time, profiled per lot. Small enough that one person can taste every batch before it ships.

Dated, never stockpiled

The roast date is printed on every bag. If it has been sitting longer than three weeks, we do not sell it.

This month’s roasts.

“We started roasting because we kept buying good coffee that had been sitting in a warehouse for nine months. The bean was never the problem. The waiting was.”
